The Emergency Department at Monticello-Big Lake Hospital is equipped to handle illness and injury 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are proud to provide high quality emergency care to our adult and pediatric patients. When you need immediate medical attention, you can count on:

- An average of less than 25 minutes that patients wait before being seen by a physician or care provider.
- A physician Hospitalist who directs the care of patients who are admitted to the hospital.
- InstyMeds 24-hour automated pharmacy for common emergency room prescriptions.
- An Advanced Life Support ambulance service to provide quality paramedic and EMT support at the scene of accidents and during patient transfers.
- A helipad is also available on campus to provide emergency helicopter transport capabilities.
