At Monticello-Big Lake Hospital’s Inpatient Rehab Unit, we strive to set the standard for quality health care services through individualized treatment and multidisciplinary team approach. Our rehabilitation team has a daily commitment to our values of excellence, integrity, teamwork and fun.
Individuals disabled by an illness or injury face difficult adjustments and major lifestyle changes that often go beyond physical limitation. By providing a supportive, caring environment, emphasizing patients’ abilities rather than disabilities, we strive to help instill in patients the confidence needed to achieve their maximum level of functional independence and to regain the lives they treasure.
Who we serve:
Our patients are those who require early, intensive therapies for optimal recovery (3 hours of therapy per day - a minimum of 5 days per week) and include those with stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, amputation and major multiple trauma. We are successful in helping people with a variety of functional disorders relearn skills that have been lost as well as learn new adaptive techniques.
